Pruning with Brett

Back by popular demand, Brett will show you how to prune your trees and shrubs, what should be pruned now, and who you should prune in the springtime. He will share his knowledge and take all of your questions, so you can give your plant material the proper pruning.
Scarecrow Making for Kids and Adults

This is always a popular event as we again will fill your yards with wonderful scarecrows. This year we are offering two different days and times to help fit your schedule. We have also opened this event up to adults as well as children. We will be making full size scarecrows on frames stuffed with straw, using old clothes and lots of creativity by your children. There is a $10 fee for this class and we ask that you please register so we have enough supplies. You are welcome to bring old clothing with you for your scarecrow and to share with others.

Planting Bulbs for Spring Beauty

Fall is the time to plant bulbs for spring blooming. Nancy will take the mystery out of planting Spring bulbs. Which end up? How deep? How do I keep those wonderful critters away? When will they bloom? What type of soil and light?...These are many of the questions that Nancy will answer as she discusses planting bulbs now for your enjoyment in the spring.

Putting Your Garden to Bed with Kate

Now is a great time to not only put your garden to bed, but to do a few things to help prepare for next year as well. Kate will talk about what to cut back, what and when to divide, soil prep and any other of the many questions that you may have. With some prep this fall, you can reduce your work in the spring and your garden will enjoy the rewards as well.
Painting and Carving Pumpkins

Painting and carving pumpkins is so much fun, but can be messy! Take the mess out of your home, and come join us as we paint and carve pumpkins! The $8 fee includes all of the supplies to paint or carve your pumpkin. The best part is the cleanup is on us! Please call to register so we will have enough supplies.
